We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, professional license number, certifications, work history, and office details. We also collect usage data such as shifts posted, applications submitted, and messages sent within the platform.
We use your information to match dental professionals with dental offices, facilitate hiring, process payments, send push notifications about shift activity, and improve the ToothGig platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
When a dental professional applies to a shift, their profile information (name, license number, certifications, and bio) is visible to the posting dental office. Office information (name and address) is visible to professionals browsing shifts. Chat messages are visible only to the two parties on a specific application.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. ToothGig does not store your credit card number or banking details. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment information is handled.
With your permission, we send push notifications about application status updates, new messages, and shift activity. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
ToothGig requests access to your camera and photo library solely to allow you to upload a profile photo. We do not access, store, or transmit your photos for any other purpose.
ToothGig requests access to your location to show dental shifts near you. Location data is used only within the app and is not stored on our servers or shared with third parties.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
ToothGig is a staffing coordination platform and does not store, transmit, or process protected health information (PHI). Do not share patient information through this platform.
We use Firebase Authentication and Firestore Security Rules to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
ToothGig is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
